Join us Thurs June 9th at 7PM at Gold Star Park (on Wharton St between 6th and 7th) for our show to kick off the Gold Star Summer Music Series. Bring a picnic dinner and a blanket or chair and this event is very kid friendly. As of writing the weather looks like it will be perfect.

In 3 weeks we will record 3 tunes at Miner St to go “in the can” along with 6 others. Soon thereafter they’ll be shaken up, mastered and packaged for an upcoming Chapter 7 record. Title and release date are TBD…
THURS OCTOBER 8TH BENEFIT FOR GOLD STAR PARK
The friends of Gold Star Park at 6th & Wharton in South Phila have organized a great event in the park with food and drink donated from the neighborhood to raise money for new playground equipment and improvements to the park. We will be playing music. Tickets are $25 for adults and reduced for kids and they get you in to eat and drink and enjoy the music and support the park. We hope you can come!

We are thrilled to share the evening with John Train –a six piece semi-electrified bluegrass, country and much-more band which features many of our musical friends and past collaborators. FRI AUG 1 at DAWSON ST w/AMY PICKARD & FRIENDS
Join us Fri Aug 1st at 9PM when we return to the Dawson St Pub just off Ridge Ave, in Manayunk/Wissahickon. Joining us in a rare appearance will Amy Pickard & Friends (formerly of She-Haw and Amy Pickard & the Cradlers). Dawson St is one of Philadelphia’s great, long-standing neighborhood bars, with great beer and nice room for music. We’re very excited to hear Amy and Friends. Everyone should buy her 2007 record Cut From the Hopeless, or listen to it (it’s on Spotify). Here’s a review.

The KFB will travel to Brooklyn NYC to join Sam Erickson & Dave French’s band The Sonic Power Pops at Freddy’s Bar, 627 5th Ave in Brooklyn. Show starts at the old man-friendly time of 8PM. We go first, the SPP’s go second and then we will be followed by the modish masters of 60’s French pop –Les Sans Culottes. We hope to see you!

Join us at the infamous/famous/under-the-radar/9th St Italian Market new institution Connie’s Ric Rac for the SOUTH PHILA POP MUSIC MARATHON. We are joined by friends Crevice Tool (these guys have very little web presence but lots of stage presence!), The Kwerks, and the Donuts, as well as Baker Man.
